I chose to intern at Amazon this coming summer as a software development intern.
I decided that Amazon would be a great place to intern this summer as the culture is very strong. All Amazon employees believe in a fast-paced, action-oriented work-ethic. That kind of environment is exactly what will help me grow as an engineer and collaborator.
Interning at such a large company will help me have a lot of impact. I love making software that has a positive benefit to the world, and being able to code for a company that helps so many different people will help me do just that.
Building at a company that has many established processes will help me learn how top companies operate in software engineering, and I'll be able to translate that to any future opportunities or companies that I interact with.
Overall, I'm super excited to work this summer, and know I'll learn a lot!
